Under the Prescott Stranding Grant Program, we will provide financial assistance (up to $, in Federal funds, with a 25 percent non-federal cost-sharing requirement) to eligible marine mammal stranding network participants for (1) the recovery or treatment of stranded marine mammals and (2) the collection of data from living or dead. The Marine Mammal Health and Stranding Response Program was created out of concern over marine mammal mortalities.
